Event Overview | Fun Ride to "Ride and Experience" in Chikugo and Yame
Date, venue, start/finish
The Mynavi Tour de Kyushu 2025 Chikugo-Yame Stage Ride will be held in Chikugo City and Yame City on Monday, September 15th, 2025 (national holiday) . The start and finish will be at Chikugo Regional Park . It is an open-access event that can be enjoyed by everyone, from beginners to experienced cyclists.

The charm and highlights of the course
The course is packed with elements that make it a "pleasant ride," such as the green scenery of Yame's tea fields, the historic streets of the former Kurogi town, and gentle ups and downs. The advance preview also spoke of the appeal of the "route that weaves through Yame's tea fields."
How to Enjoy Fun Rides | Short & Long Rides, Enjoying the Local Area at Aid Stations
Two course settings and participation conditions
The event had two courses, a short course and a long course , and was designed to be enjoyable for people of all abilities, with aid stations being utilized. It was also planned to be run in a way that parents and children, as well as beginners, could participate.

Aid experience of tea fields, old townscapes, and local specialties
The best part of a fun ride is experiencing local food and famous places. Resupply and sightseeing are combined to enhance the value of the experience of "riding, enjoying, and taking photos."
The venue was even more heated with the BMX competition held on the same day.
The start and finish line of the race was Chikugo Regional Park, where the "Mynavi Presents 2025 Asian BMX Freestyle Championships" was also held on the same day, making it a fun day for families and spectators alike.

PANP same-day support | Air pressure booth and ride safety support

Pre-race check: optimal air pressure setting
PANP set up an air pressure check and optimization booth at the venue. They provided the recommended PSI based on weight, tire width, and road surface, and quickly filled tires with an electric air pump compatible with Presta, American, and British valves. They also gave beginners tips on how to install and remove the valve.
Emergency air support during driving & beginner support
We also provided emergency air support at course meeting points and support to alleviate the anxiety of parents and children and first-time participants. We accompanied the participants so that they could enjoy the event with peace of mind.

Participant comments and highlights of the day
It was a day filled with smiles, with comments such as, "The pedals are now lighter after the tire pressure was adjusted to the correct level," "The views of the tea fields and townscape are amazing," and "I'm happy to have local cuisine at the aid station." Many photos of beloved bikes set against the greenery were posted on social media, and the value of "driving x local experience" was discussed in many places.
Tips for a comfortable ride | Proper tire pressure and how to use an electric tire pump
Guideline PSI and check frequency
Always check the tire pressure with a gauge before setting off. As a guideline, 70-90 PSI for 25-28C road bikes, 40-60 PSI for cross/gravel bikes, and 35-50 PSI for city bikes. The basic rule is to keep the pressure slightly lower when riding on bumpy or wet roads, and slightly higher when carrying heavy loads. You can reduce the risk of punctures by topping up your tires along the way when riding long distances, in high temperatures, or carrying a load.
When to use PANP's electric air pump
It automatically stops at the set pressure so you don't have to worry about overfilling, and it's small, lightweight , and easy to carry. If you quickly refill it when you arrive at the aid station, it will make the second half of your legs easier , contributing to a more stable average speed and improved comfort.
